- **Role Overview**:
- We are looking for our first dedicated Software Engineer to join Persevio at a pivotal moment. Reporting to the CTO, you will be the cornerstone of our engineering team, transitioning the product from a founder-led build to a scalable engineering organization. This is a high-impact, "founding hire" role where you will own significant portions of our full-stack architecture and accelerate the delivery of our core AI recruitment platform.
- **Key Responsibilities**:
- **Drive Full-Stack Development**: Take ownership of the end-to-end development life cycle using Go (Gin, GORM, MySQL) and React to ship high-quality features and enhance our production systems.
- **Accelerate Product Velocity**: Work closely with the Co-founder in Shanghai to translate product requirements into working software, leveraging AI-native development tools to maintain a pace of delivery that exceeds traditional engineering workflows.
- **Build the Engineering Foundation**: Navigate an early-stage codebase with high autonomy, helping to establish documentation, best practices, and processes as the team grows.
- **Collaborate Globally**: Partner directly with our technical leadership across regions to solve complex architectural challenges and scale our AI-driven recruitment engine.
- **Requirements**:
- **Minimum/Core Requirements**:
- **Professional Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese**: This is a genuine occupational requirement as the role necessitates daily technical collaboration, code reviews, and architectural discussions with our Co-founder and technical stakeholders based in Shanghai.
- **AI-Native Development Approach**: Demonstrated experience using AI tooling (beyond basic autocomplete) to build, test, and ship production-level code significantly faster and more effectively.
- **Full-Stack Proficiency**: Strong hands-on experience with Go (Golang) and React. Familiarity with MySQL and backend frameworks like Gin or GORM is expected.
- **Independent Builder Mindset**: Proven ability to thrive in unstructured, fast-paced environments where you can ramp up on an existing codebase and deliver results with minimal supervision.
- **Communication**: Strong professional English skills to collaborate effectively within our Singapore-based team.
- **Preferred/Bonus Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a high-growth startup or a "founding engineer" capacity.
- Experience building or integrating AI/LLM features into production applications.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong sense of product ownership.
