- **Role Overview**:
- We are seeking our first MDR Team Lead to build and scale our inbound lead qualification function from the ground up. This is a high-impact, greenfield opportunity where you will initially act as a solo operator to define the playbook and establish immediate credibility. As the function matures, you will lead the transition into a team leadership role, hiring and coaching a high-performing MDR team to drive qualified pipeline for our Account Executives.
- **Key Responsibilities**:
- **Drive Inbound Conversion:** Personally manage and qualify 100% of inbound lead volume with speed and precision, ensuring high-potential prospects are effectively converted into sales meetings.
- **Architect the MDR Playbook:** Design and codify the foundational processes for lead scoring, qualification criteria, and routing frameworks to establish a repeatable and scalable motion.
- **Lead Functional Growth:** As the lead volume scales, drive the recruitment, onboarding, and coaching of new MDR hires, transitioning from an individual contributor to a strategic people manager.
- **Optimize Sales Handoff:** Partner closely with the Sales Director and marketing partners to refine lead quality and ensure a seamless, high-signal handoff process to the Account Executive team.
- **Requirements**:
- **Minimum/Core Requirements:**
- Significant hands-on experience in inbound lead qualification (MDR/SDR) within a SaaS or B2B sales environment.
- Proficiency in Business Mandarin is required to effectively qualify leads and build rapport with our Mandarin-speaking market segment in Singapore.
- A "builder" mindset—you must be excited to be the sole operator in the initial phase while simultaneously designing the systems for the future team.
- Proven ability to manage lead scoring and qualification frameworks with a focus on speed and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fully onsite, collaborative office environment in Singapore.
- **Preferred/Bonus Requirements:**
- Prior experience in a startup or early-stage environment, specifically building sales processes where none existed.
- Previous experience in a team lead, mentor, or management capacity.
- Familiarity with the HR Tech or recruitment industry landscape.
