- **Role Overview**:
- As our first Recruitment Consultant, you will lead the "zero-to-one" business development effort in Singapore. Reporting directly to the Founder, you will act as the local face of Persevio, winning high-value client assignments and establishing our brand in a competitive market.
- You will leverage our AI-driven engine and global delivery team to handle the heavy lifting of sourcing and initial screening, allowing you to focus on high-impact client strategy, business development, and relationship building.
- **Key Responsibilities**:
- **Drive Strategic Business Development:** Identify, prospect, and secure new client partnerships and job assignments from scratch, building a robust revenue engine for the Singapore market.
- **Evangelize the AI-First Model:** Effectively communicate the value proposition of Persevio’s technology-augmented model, demonstrating how our approach delivers superior efficiency and quality over traditional manual methods.
- **Manage Local Client Relationships:** Serve as the primary local point of contact, managing the full client lifecycle from the initial pitch to placement and post-hire success.
- **Bridge Candidate Nuance:** Partner with our global delivery team to ensure quality, stepping in to conduct interviews and assess local cultural fit where regional nuance and verbal communication are critical.
- **Requirements**:
- **Minimum/Core Requirements:**
- At least 2 years of experience within a recruitment agency environment, with a clear understanding of the agency model and placement processes.
- A proven track record as a "hunter," with demonstrated success in cold outbound prospecting and winning new client accounts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English to manage professional client and candidate interactions.
- A resilient, builder mindset—comfortable navigating the high-activity environment of an early-stage startup.
- Based in Singapore to facilitate local client meetings and candidate engagement.
- **Preferred/Bonus Requirements:**
- Proficiency in Business Mandarin is required to effectively support and negotiate with our expanding portfolio of clients from the North Asia market.
- Experience recruiting within the Technology or Professional Services sectors.
- Prior experience in high-growth startups or selling HR-Tech/SaaS solutions.
