- **Role Overview**:
- As the Chief Concierge, you will be the cornerstone of our guest service operations, leading a multi-functional team of approximately 15 staff across the Bell Desk, Valet, Door, and Transport services. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will have the autonomy to shape the service culture, overhaul operational workflows, and ensure a world-class welcome for every guest.
- **Key Responsibilities**:
- **Team Leadership & Development:** Lead, mentor, and coach a diverse team of 15+ members, driving a high-performance culture and maintaining peak service standards across all front-of-house functions.
- **Strategic Manpower Management:** Take full ownership of end-to-end manpower planning and roster scheduling, ensuring optimal coverage and efficiency during high-occupancy periods and peak guest arrivals.
- **Operational Excellence:** Oversee the daily operations of the Bell, Valet, Door, and Transport teams, streamlining processes to enhance guest flow and service delivery.
- **Elevate Guest Experience:** Drive guest satisfaction by personally managing complex requests and maintaining a high presence in the lobby to ensure quality control and personalized service.
- **Departmental Stability:** Stabilize and optimize operational rosters and workflows, lifting service standards to align with the property’s premium reputation.
- **Requirements**:
- **Minimum/Core Requirements:**
- Extensive experience in Concierge or Front Services, with a demonstrated track record in a Supervisory or Assistant Management role within a high-volume hotel environment.
- Proven experience leading and managing medium-to-large teams (15+ staff), including performance management and coaching.
- Expert-level proficiency in manpower planning and roster management for shift-based operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage diverse guest expectations and vendor relationships.
- This role requires a commitment to a hands-on, onsite leadership style, including the ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays to ensure operational oversight during peak guest activity periods.
- **Preferred/Bonus Requirements:**
- Membership in Les Clefs d’Or (Golden Keys).
- Prior experience in a luxury or 5-star hospitality environment within the Singapore market.
