**Role Overview:**
We are seeking an experienced Data Center Domain Expert to be a crucial bridge between real-world operational needs and our cutting-edge AI digital twin technology. This pivotal role will infuse our product and engineering teams with deep, practical data center operational expertise, ensuring our solutions are highly relevant and impactful. You will also be instrumental in credibly engaging with customers and representing Red Dot Analytics as a thought leader in the industry, directly shaping the future of sustainable data center operations.
**Job Scope / What You'll Do:**
* **Guide Product & Solution Development:** Provide deep subject matter expertise to product and engineering teams on data center design, construction, operations, and maintenance. Advise on operational constraints, compliance requirements, and critical areas such as cooling, power management, and energy efficiency, translating complex needs into actionable product features.
* **Provide Technical & Strategic Advisory:** Act as a trusted technical advisor during client engagements, supporting sales and customer success teams. Participate in pre-sales activities, including product demonstrations, technical Q&A sessions, and proposal support, effectively communicating the value proposition of RDA's solutions to potential and existing customers.
* **Champion Industry Thought Leadership:** Represent Red Dot Analytics at key industry events, conferences, and forums, contributing to our credibility and visibility within the broader data center ecosystem. Stay informed of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes to continually inform our strategic direction.
**Requirements / Who You Are:**
* **Minimum/Core Requirements:**
* 10-20 years of progressive professional experience, with a significant portion dedicated to hands-on data center operational roles.
* Proven deep, hands-on data center operational expertise, having managed critical functions or overall operations within a data center environment.
* Expertise in critical data center systems, including cooling, power systems, and capacity planning, with deep specialization in at least one or two areas (e.g., cooling, power management) and a high-level understanding of others.
* A proactive and autonomous startup mentality, comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, results-driven, and often ambiguous early-stage tech environment.
* Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, vital for effective internal collaboration and credible external engagement with customers and industry peers.
* Eligible to work in Singapore (Singapore Citizen, Singapore PR, or eligible for an Employment Pass).
* Willingness to work in a hybrid model based in Singapore.
* Fluent in English.
* **Preferred/Bonus Requirements:**
* Track record of successfully leading or contributing to projects aimed at improving data center energy efficiency (e.g., PUE) or operational reliability.
* Familiarity with industry standards and best practices (e.g., Uptime Institute).
* Experience with various data center management software tools.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex operational challenges into clear product requirements.
* A solid grasp of enterprise software concepts and their application in operational contexts.
* Understanding of AI concepts and how they can be leveraged to optimize data center operations (e.g., for digital twins, predictive analytics).
