**Role Overview:**
We are seeking an accomplished and entrepreneurial VP of Sales to establish and scale our sales function at RDA. This is a newly created, highly impactful role with direct company-level influence, responsible for driving significant revenue growth, professionalizing our sales operations, and laying the groundwork for a high-performing sales team. You will be instrumental in converting strategic opportunities and building a repeatable sales engine in the critical data center market.
**Job Scope / What You'll Do:**
* **Drive Substantial Revenue Growth:** Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets by managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure for enterprise data center clients. This includes conducting discovery calls, delivering tailored product demonstrations of the DCVerse platform, developing customized proposals, and negotiating contracts.
* **Accelerate Existing Opportunities:** Immediately take ownership of and close warm leads and existing deals in the sales pipeline, converting these pre-qualified opportunities into immediate revenue and establishing strong sales momentum.
* **Architect Scalable Sales Playbook:** Define and formalize RDA's end-to-end sales process, including Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs), buyer personas, and sales stages. Create standardized sales collateral such as pitch decks, case studies, and battlecards, and evaluate appropriate CRM and sales enablement tools.
* **Build Future Sales Capabilities:** Define future sales team roles and hiring profiles, participating in the interview and assessment of potential sales candidates as the company scales. Develop training materials for new sales hires based on the established playbook.
* **Establish Rigorous Sales Forecasting:** Track sales activities and pipeline progression, prepare regular sales forecasts and reports for leadership, and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for continuous improvement.
* **Collaborate Strategically:** Work closely with the founder and pre-sales support team, providing crucial market insights and customer feedback to product and engineering teams to inform continuous innovation.
**Requirements / Who You Are:**
**Minimum/Core Requirements:**
* 7+ years of B2B sales experience in enterprise software or SaaS, with at least 2-3 years in a senior individual contributor or sales leadership capacity.
* Proven track record of consistently exceeding individual sales quotas in complex, enterprise-level deals.
* Direct experience selling into the data center industry or closely related critical infrastructure/industrial sectors.
* Deep understanding of data center operations, challenges (e.g., energy efficiency, operational stability), and pain points.
* Exceptional full-cycle sales skills, including prospecting, lead generation, complex deal negotiation, and closing.
* Strong consultative selling approach, able to articulate complex value propositions to both technical and business stakeholders.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated ability to thrive in an early-stage startup environment characterized by high ownership, ambiguity, fast pace, and a "roll-up-your-sleeves" mentality.
* Ability to independently drive results while effectively collaborating with and informing technical founders and executive teams.
* Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident (PR).
* Comfortable with a hybrid work model based at our Singapore headquarters.
**Preferred/Bonus Requirements:**
* Proven ability to build and formalize sales processes, playbooks, and methodologies from the ground up.
* Familiarity with AI, Digital Twin, or Industrial IoT technologies.
* Proficiency in evaluating, selecting, and implementing sales tools (e.g., CRM, sales enablement platforms).
* Strategic thinking ability to define target markets, sales motions, and go-to-market strategies.
